Causes of cracking of stainless steel ms concentric reducer
Based on the reasons for the short-term cracking of stainless steel non concentric reducer made of 304 stainless steel, the cracks and fracture morphology of the failed parts were characterized by metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope, and the chemical composition of the parent material, weld, heat-affected zone and corrosion products were analyzed by electron energy spectrum. The results show that the leakage of the pipeline is caused by sensitization during welding, and intergranular stress corrosion cracking occurs rapidly under the dual action of chloride and sulfide solutions, and corresponding protective measures are proposed.
